Cookies

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most big websites do this too.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies on our website for the following purposes:

Statistics – we are interested in knowing how many people are accessing our websites, how often they visit and from which countries. We also want to know which pages are most popular and which of our marketing activities are bringing relevant traffic to our websites. The cookies do not contain any personal information. We use Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Adobe Digital Marketing Suite, Eloqua and Sitecore to record and analyse this data, and we use the results of our analysis to improve our websites.

Content targeting – by recording which pages on our website a user has previously looked at we can present more relevant content and promotions when they come back to the website. These cookies do not contain any personal information.

Functionality – when a website user fills in a form or expresses an interest in one of courses or centres we use this information to create a profile for that user. The profile is stored in a secure database and a unique cookie is written to the client computer which allows us to retrieve information from the stored profile in order to provide enhanced website functionality like pre-filling an application form that has not yet been submitted. The cookie that provides access to the profile does not contain any personal information and has a lifetime of 30 days. After this time it is impossible for the stored profile to be accessed by our websites. The stored profile does not contain credit card information.

How to disable cookies

You can prevent cookies from being written to your computer by modifying your browser preferences. Our websites will work if cookies are disabled, but many of the features will not function as they are intended to.
